Car: 91 Formula, 89 IROC
Engine: LB9, LB9
Transmission: 700R4, 700R4
Axle/Gears: Posi 2.73, Posi 2.73
Odd Gas Problem
Ok when I got the car it got about 10mpg or less. Now that I have done an entire tune up, it still gets the same milage. It was throwing the EGR code 32 so I replaced the EGR yesterday. One of the EGR passages in the plenum was clogged so I unclogged it and put it all back together and I STILL get the same gas milage. I have no driven it at highway speeds long enough to see if the check engine light comes on again. What else could make a stock engine have such bad gas milage?
