350 TPI Knock Sensor Interchange w/ 350 TBI Knock Sensor?

There seems to be some ambiguity about this. Autozone shows a PN of SU169 for a wells unit that is for the 1991 350 TBI trucks as well as the 1991 350 TPI SD cars. Anyone know if they are interchangeable as long as the engine size is the same? I bought a TBI 350 knock sensor many years ago for a TBI swap and it is currently installed in my block. I am know going TPI and am wondering if I need a TPI-specific sensor.

Measure the resistance of it. The 85-89 TPI sensors are 100k ohms, and the 90-92 TPI sensors are 3900 to 4400 ohms. If it measures 3900 to 4400 ohms, you're fine.

In the TPI's there is also a differance in the 5.0 to 5.7 L knock sensors
