GMTech.................................

Did you happen to get those fuel injector numbers. If not, do you know of a good resource I can go too? A local Chevy dealer perhaps?
Thanks,
SC

What..........................

The local chevy dealership won't be able to help, all three part #'s show up as no good. I am having my friend in the parts dept. cross reference them in hopes of finding where they came from. I'll let you know.

I think All Chevy magazine (remember them?) once printed a list of what injector went with which TPI application. There is a slight possibility that I have the old issue lying around in a box somewhere. I say slight because my wife likes to "clean" up my messes sometimes and there's no telling what she's thrown out. I'll look around and see if I find it.

Car: 1989 Camaro-1LE
Engine: TPI(s)

Check out the list I found, added to, etc.
http://www.epsb.net/~mstrembi/injectors.htm

At the very bottom is the TPI injectors.

I make no claim that anything on the list is correct. It is just a guide base on what I found around the internet.

Thats a cool list, but I didn't see any of the injectors that were being asked about on there. Here is what I came up with (you owe the guys I work with a beer or two by the way-J/K)

17086543 is a bad part number, but it supercedes to: 17112284 wich is a good number. This injector was used on '89-92 Fbodies with the 305(F) engine. (19 lb/hr)

17102119 was also no good, since it changed to 17112982, wich changed to: 17112284 wich is the same as the injector as above.

17090882 changed to: 17112285 wich was used on '91-93 Fbodies with the 350 (22 lb/hr)

This took alot or research, since all the original PNs were no good. Many phone calls to GM to try and trace these numbers. I hope this helps.

Thanks GMTech and everyone else. I don't know why those injector numbers don't show up as good. Those are definitely the numbers stamped on the top. I will go with the lb/hr figures that you gave for the superceded numbers.
Thanks again,
SC

Well, the fact that they are no good, doesn't mean that they didn't exist, its just that they are superceded, and the old numbers are usually purged from dealers computers. So it takes a phonecall to GM to track the part number. If you were to go into a dealer and order one of those injectors, the part number would be the new one, not the one stamped on the injectors you have. Make sense? When those injectors were first made, the PNs were good, they are just obsolete now. Later.
