Fuel Pressure Regulator...

Hey guys, Now Im trying to turn my fuel pressure up, never had to, so not too sure on how to do it. I still have the stock one on and everything. Now, I heard somewhere where you can add something on to the stock one, to be able to adjust it. Is the stock one even or already adjustable. or do I have to go out and buy a whole new one, install it just to be able to adjust it.

Also, what is the stock setting at, and what size are stock injectors. I thought they were 22lb/hr but Ive now seen like 5 diff numbers on here, saying they are 64, 46, and some others. I have an 89 Iroc, with a 350 in it, if that helps.

Thank you in advance for any help...

Stock injectors are 21s and the stock regulator is not adjustable. Why do you want to adjust it? Did you capture data that shows the flow is inadequate in some situation?

you can go to TPIS.com and buy the kit to change the stock to an adjustable.. they work fine and are about 60 bucks

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator...

or if you want to save 60.00 take the top off regulator and shim the spring with washer, youll have to experiment with thickness to get to the press. you want.
i have an adjustable but once set to the right pressure you really dont need to be able to adjust it any more
