stock injector #lbs.
i was wondering if anyone knows the stock injector rated lbs. are on a 350 tpi. i called the shop that did my top end swop onto my reman 350 and they got all the parts needed for the swop including injectors. had them call where they got the injectors from for specs and got nothing. the shop then looked into their manual and told me they are 41-47....... No way. i told them thats the fuel regulator pressure not the injectors. thats what it says they said. so i could stroke and boost my engine on stock injectors? HAHAHA yeah right. i thought they were around 16-20, comp cams thought it was about 16-18.

Stock 305 should be 19 lb/hr @ 43.5 psi.

Re: stock injector #lbs.
thanks fast355. i have a formula from when i went to school that if you know your stock injectors lbs. and what fuel pressure the regulator is at, decide what lbs u want the injectors to be and the resulting number that you come up with will be the pressure the regulator will need to be at in order to be about the equivalency of the new injector lbs.
with my new mods (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...69hr-08-a.html) ill be doing i dont know what psi i should run. i wonder what a safe bet would be to start up for the first time.
Now as far as setting the pressure, do u unplug the vacumm line and then adjust to what you want or? we were doing regulator psi changes at school but we were instructed to note the psi under wot. so for example most hp made at 40 psi. did 2 psi at a time changes. So say it was at 42 psi, dyno and get results, then adjust and go wot and note psi until a 2 psi change was achieved., then dyno again. is this right or is the vacumm better especially when its easier to do wot if your on a dyno.
