Holding back

what is holding my car back, i have a 1992 camaro t5 3.42 gears,

i had a 305 bored .040 over dished pistons, with the 2031 crane cam. everything else stock still had smog (no cats) and everything, ran a 14.6 at high elevation. dont know horse power.

well now i have a 350 .040 over flat top pistons, 193 stock chevy heads, same 2031 cam, headers, no smog,no cats, underdrive pulleys, tpi foil. have not ran it yet, dont know horse power.

i have read somewere sense i have a b4c i have 21lbs injecters, dont know if that is true.

it doesnt feel any faster then it was, feels slower and with the headers (hedman) its alot quieter then it was.

any ideas,

Re: Holding back

Hey how is it going? I think your problem may be as simple as a Prom swap... Your car is a 92, so best guess your running a SD system with a map... From what i have read, speed denisity cars dont like large mods. (sometimes not even small mods) Your car has no idea that there is a 350 under the hood and is running on the factory settings for the 305. As for 21# injectors, all i have heard of size wise were 19# for 305's and 22# for the 350... maybe someone else can shed some light... well I hope you get your problem fixed... no one likes adding mods only to gain very little, or worse, lose...

Re: Holding back

after i put in the new 350 i thought that that was the problem so i orders a new custom chip from pcmforless and that didnt change a thing. so i'm going to put bigger injectores in and a differant set of heads and try that. and hopefully this spring i'm going to start burning my own proms. what do u think?
