warm engine won't restart
1987 5.7L TPI engine I stuck in an '87 Landcrusier : Starts right up.....runs well, warms up, turn it off, try to restart and it just turns over and over.... checked spark, good... injector noide light blinks, fuel pressure is 35-37.. but...NO START. I can wait 10 min and it fires right up and runs well again... could this be my gas cap? Does the TPI need a different fuel cap then the one I have on this once carburatored truck> Would this be a vapor barrier or? Please school me somebody...I will check this tread in the morning(Monday) around 9A here in CA (PST).

Re: warm engine won't restart
Warmed it up this morning, turned it off after 10 min....turned key and NO START... checked spark, good ... sprayed a little ether in it and used remote starter switch...Fired up. turned off and tried key to start, NO START! Tried remote starter again without ether and she fired up... what gives? When it sits for 5-8 min. after being normal temp, it fires up with key just normally! Then after turning it off it takes another 3 min. to fire again...I timed all this stuff and it is so weird... CAN ANYONE
Help!!
