TPI questions

I bought a 91 z28 convertible that had no engine or tranny, it still has the wiring harness and CPU in it. I have for it a 55-86 2 pc RMS crate engine, I also got a Full TPI wiring harness and cpu from a 87 with a 85-86 TPI lower manifold, should i switch the whole system to the 87 MAF or should can i mod the old 85-86 TPI stuff to the speed density system, also which one is the better system?

Intake /engine doesn't care what computer is running it so you can run MAF (85 -89) or SD (90- 92) ECM on any year TPI intake.
Seeing you already have the SD electronics in the car ,simpler and easiest to use that system.
Your early TPI plenum won't have a mount for the SD MAP sensor so you will have to remote mount that like on the TBI cars or get a SD TPI plenum that as the MAP mount
