Since new/rebuilt style distributors no longer have the nice crappy pickup coil in them like the GM style, but the new 8 points easily visible on each side and bolts down from the top, has anyone had to get a replacement pickup coil for them?
I can find no info online, but crystal clear pics of the original distributor and pickup coil setup as well as the rebuilt/aftermarket setup.
Pretty sure it is my issue and I sure as hell don't want to waste money on an entire distributor if I do not have to.
Any info or part numbers here would be great.
Thanks
Jeremy

Never mind found my answer.
Same stupid pickup coil under fancy looking points...
Now who is the idiot that changed the design but still made it so u have to pull the damned shaft out to replace the pickup coil.......
Sometimes I think engineers have too much time on their hands......
