Intake manifold torque setting?
When I take the top end of my intake system apart to put in the new Accel injectors, want to retorque the intake manifold bolts - what is the torque setting for this?
Thanks in advance.

Not a bad idea. I see those center bolts loosen up on SBCs all the time.
Go through all of them once at 25 ft-lbs and again at 45 ft-lbs with the same sequence.
Kind of like this, with 1 being the first bolt to torque and 12 the last one:
......................Right side...........................
front of........ 8 7 _ 9 10 _ 11 12........ back of
engine......... 2 1 _ 3 4 _ 5 6............ engine
......................Left side.............................
I have also seen the sequence as going in this order:
12 11 _ 4 1 _ 5 6
10 9 _ 3 2 _ 7 8
I always use the first sequence and it works perfectly - never warped a manifold and never had any problems with leaks.
Hope that helps.
