Hi everyone, I am doing my roller rockers this winter and was wondering if anyone knew of a place (and price hopefully) to send out my slp runners and plenum for siamese and gasket match, and also my Accel base (from before they were bought by edelbrock) to be ported and polished. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know who does it, but it’s a lot of hours to do a good job and will be quite expensive. It’s a good DIY project, but probably not worth paying someone to do it.

I have about 20 hours into my SDPC base and Accel runners and probably have another 5 or so to go. That’s just for mild porting, gasket matching and smoothing the interior surface.

Thank you. I was considering doing it myself, but i'm afraid of messing it up and ruining the parts. I'd feel safer if someone more experienced was able to do it so i can get the best out of it

I think the guys name or his name he uses here is Robert Frank. He does porting and gasket matching so he might do polishing as well.
He has a facebook page but I can not remember the company name. I found him while surfing some threads in the TPI forum.
My buddy just polished his runners and plenum himself with some basic store bought stuff and it turned out great.

Just get a FIRST manifold and be done with it. $1000 and you'll never port a TPI out to what the FIRST will flow.

Thank you all for the info. After seeing one or two prices floating around and such, I've decided that i'll most likely wind up porting them out myself. I just need to figure out how far to go with the runners. I have seen several renditions of the SLP runner siamese where they are just siamesed up a bit, and some are hogged way out. Obviously the choice is to get it siamesed as deep as possible, but I can't find a "this is the correct amount" thread. Also, my other concern is if I can't get to the middle of the runner, then is that creating a bottle neck and kind of just diminishing the port anyway. I've seen the FIRST systems, but i like the look of the SLP, and right now i can't afford a different setup. I originally thought i'd be spending $300 for the porting, but finding out that this may take upwards of 8 hours or longer, I now understand that my guess was way off.

Did mine myself. Never added up the time i put in lol. Just takes patience. Have the same setup you're working on. Not sure of actual performance gain, but judging by the "butt dyno", noticeable difference
