T-5 Transmission Cross Reference

Saw several questions regarding T-5 info so I gathered up some information that some might find useful and figured it would be nice to have all this information in one location rather then searching thread after thread.

Mods..

Don't mean to bring back an old thread, but this has some good information on it, but this has been dormant for a awhile, any way to make the information a sticky or tech article for easier searching? If anything needs to be done on my end let me know.

thanks

Was searching TGO for general T5 ratio info. I found this handy chart below from 2003.

I don't know info source, nor if it is accurate.

In any event I thought I'd post because my 1987 IROC T5 w/ G92 has model number 1352-157, indicating a 1986 model T-5 for LG4/L69. Apparently GM was using up old inventory in Van Nuys. My build date is end of January 1987.

I'm mostly curious about the source of the above-posted info more than anything, and about how the dates/models were determined. I guess it's no surprise to me that GM would put an '86 box in an '87 car.

Thanks,
Rich
