200,000 mile mark and then........

....ca-*****......ca-***** (repeat as necessary). I'm doing my best impression of a low-rider stutter. I was just bragging to my brother how well my T/A was running after 200K and my tranny dumped on me. After letting it sit for a few hours I could only move it a few feet before it would just spin. Just dropped the tranny today and after pulling the pan I saw why.

Bearings everywhere, heavy filings, and the filter was just clogged with metal shavings. No fluid was moving.

Pictures to follow tomorrow.

Jim.

Just finished a juggernaught of a day today. Got the transmission mounted and put the rest of the under-carriage back together. I am exhausted.
Test drove it for about 30 miles. Just kept around normal speed for most of the drive. Sounded and felt okay. I'll see how it holds up in the next few days.
