problem

My friend has a 96 camaro, v6 auto....... and sometimes theres a problem in between shifts.... it feels kind of like when you drive a stick shift and your clutch is worn, how it slips and doesnt catch all the way, it just kinda winds up, any idea what this might be?... Is the tranny wearing out? It only has 66.6k miles on it, and the tranny was replaced at like 25k under warranty. so really it only has like 40k miles on it.

Only about one possible conclusion.... not like you had to ask here to hear it.

The trans is farkled. Doesn't matter if it got put in yesterday and only has 500 yards on it, it's still toast.

Car: 1984 Trans Am WS6
Transmission: 700r4 Highly Modified
Needs a rebuild. The original factory trans in my car died after 40,000 miles. It was overheating.
