TQ Converter Not Working?
Ok, trans is only 10 months old, tops. Not even 6k on it. Never was right completely as far as I'm concerned, but the mechanics of ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rip-You-Off A*&%@!s) swear it was right.
So what's the problem? I think the converter just decided to stop working today. I don't get the little half-shift in 4th gear anymore and I'm cruising 50mph @ 2000 rpm instead of 80mph @ 2000 rpm. WTF
Don't flame me cause I'm new to the 'maro. I love these cars but this one has about reached my tolerance limit. All I want to know is why would the TQ just stop locking up? Also, being from Charleston, WV...I wanna know who the best tranny guys are around that I might ever consider driving to.
I have had 4 shops look at this thing since I got it back, and all I get is that they're all in agreement that no one wants to work on it before the warranty runs out in Feb. I don't have a car lift or a tranny jack, elsewise I'd tear into the thing myself. Anyone want to volunteer some time and expertise? Compensation offered equal to experience, skill, and friendliness. Everyone add their .02 so I can keep my baby and not sell it for parts.
Thanks all in advance.
