Car: 79 ELKIE
Engine: TPI 305
Transmission: 700R4
Will It Bolt Up ?
I have a 700R4 trans that came out of 85 firebird 2.8 inwhich the top of the trans is stright across I would like to use it on my 305 inwhich the top should be pointy will it bolt up to it? what problems will i came across would I use the TC and fly wheel from the firbird or canI use the flywheel from my 305. HELP PLEASE:hail:

Car: 89 Firebird
Engine: 406 CI
Transmission: Pete K 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3:55
I am not sure if it will bolt up or not. I assume it will. However the internals are different. Very light duty compared to a v-8 trans. I wouldn't do it.
