Did v6-v8 swap, need new speedo gear?
Ok, so I took the maro out for the first good (but short) drive after new exhaust, speedo-cable, carb, etc. after my engine swap. It's finally running right. But there was no way in holy hell that I was doing 50 *in a 20* when I looked down at the speedometer.
Or I was, and i'm not used to the response this thing has now.
I kept the rear-end gears (haven't checked the RPO codes for stock gearing), but I put in a TH-350. Do the speedometer gears need swapped out?
Thanks in advance.
