Engine: 305ci HO
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.73
need a clutch

i got a stock T-5, and now no clutch
what would some people recomend?

so if my clutch goes i need new bearings to right?

what do you get in a "clutch disc" that you dont in a "clutch kit"

You'll need a new pilot bearing/bushing. I assume that if you purchase a clutch disc that's what you get, a clutch disc. IIRC, the kit usually provides a disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing and an alignment tool. Get a kit. And have the flywheel turned.

turned? that mean remachined?
I got a friend whos dad is a mechcanic and has a lift n **** in his garage, he said he would do it for the price of the clutch and a case of corona... Im sure he knows what to do but i just want to make sure what needs to be done is done... alright thanks again.

Engine: 355 w/ ported 416s
Transmission: T10, hurst shifter
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
machine shops, maybe some mechanic shops would be able to grind down the flywheel. Mine wasn't warped, so I just scuffed it up with scotch brite and cleaned it with brake kleen.
You're lucky if you're not the one aligning the clutch disc - that's a PITA for me.
