which speedo gears???
so i'm swapping in a 9 bolt 3.27 posi in place of a 10 bolt 2.73,open rear, i pulled the speedo gears off of the 9 bolt car, there 17/45 gears, but i cant use them cause the donor car had an electric speedo and mine is cable driven, so i'm going to buy a new driven gear, i found a speddo gear calculator on bowtieoverdries, and it says to use a 17/43 setup with my 26" 255/50/16 tires,
so what gears are everyone using with a 3.27 rear and 26" tires

Is the drive gear in your transmission tail housing is the same as the donar? If I remember correctly, you should be able to use the driven gear with your speedo cable housing. The plastic driven gear should swap.

the drie gears are the same style, and teeth, "17" but the driven gear is a different style from cable to electric driven units, so i def need a new driven gear and i'm not sure wich one to get, a gear calculator on 700r4.com
http://www.700r4.com/speedoCalc/speedocalc.shtml
says to use a 17/43, but i've also read post where people use 17/43, 17/44, and 17/45 gears

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Drive...mZ140003543454 The gears in the link I posted will work with the electric VSS units or the cable style sending unit as long as you have the one that uses a metal shaft with the d-shaped end. They also have them available in 44 and 45 teeth as well. They also have the all plastic, cable style gears if that's what you need.
