EXCEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What engine do you have? What year is your car?

2.8/3.1/3.4 V6 use a different bolt pattern than the V8

87 and newer use a 31 spline input shaft for the torque converter and older models sometimes use a 27 spline shaft.

YOU MUST KEEP YOUR TAILSHAFT HOUSING FOR YOUR TORQUE ARM MOUNT!

Other than that, they are pretty much interchangeable...

Unless it's from a 4wd or Corvette too, in which cast the tailshaft length is different.

1984 1/2 and later are all 30 spline input shafts. You will need to change the tail housing. Make sure the TV cable is adjusted correctly.

not quite. as stated by other posters, the v-6 models had a different bell housing. also all v-6, regardless of year, have 27 splines whereas the 84 1/2 up used 30 splines as pro built stated.
