Alrighty then, whose using aftermarket flywheels?

Anyone using lightweight (about 16lbs.)?
Any goods or bads?
Do you prefer it over heavier models?

Anyone using billet steel?
Would you recommend it over other metals?

What about GM Performance nodular iron flywheel?
Anyone use this?
It's about 16lbs. but not SFI approved.

Would you recommend a SFI flywheel to a street/strip car?
Does it have to be SFI if you're a street/strip guy doing what I do with my car as shown below?

My mods are in my sig. Stock weight. Making about 375hp easy. I normally use street tires. I never back down from a race. I'll go to the track about 2 times a year. I'll use the car from everything from going to the store to going to the shore (about 75 miles). Going to work to looking for trouble on the street.

Finally, with what I do with the car, would you recommend a stock weight (30lbs) or a lighter weight (about 16lbs.)?

...But you don't have any legs Leutenant Dan.

I guess I should have noted that the 700r4 is sitting in pieces next to a T-5.
And I know it's only a matter of time untill the T-5 will be sitting in pieces next to it shortly, but I kinda need it on the road ASAP and I've been wanting to convert for a while.

Get the cheapest flywheel you can.. As you surmise, it will all be in a heap of pieces shortly.
