This is what i foung in the 7.5 when i took the cover off....Theres still more pieces that didnt fall out of the carier...It used to be a govlock..I love torque I now have them in a baggie hangin up on the wall....

It just kinda sucks cause i wanted to make it to the strip one last time this year..And not to mention that this rear has 600 miles on new richmond gaers and all new bearings...

Gov Locks are not very strong. I broke mine in my truck which has a 9.5" 14 bolt. I never broke it as bad as that but I broke a bunch of teeth off the lock ring. Since I needed something to keep my truck on the road, I popped in an open carrier that I had.
I really miss the locking diff and never did get around to buying a posi for it. I may just put a Powertrax locker into the open carrier.
