Pinion Tail bearing
Does anyone know if you can purchase a pinion tail bearing individually and does anyone have a part number. All i can find is complete kits. I would like to purchase 2, one for set up and one for final assembly.

Re: Pinion Tail bearing
What are you calling the tail bearing? The pinion gear in the rear end has an inner and outer bearing. The inner bearing is the one next to the gear head and the outer one is next to the yoke. They can be purchased at auto parts stores or at bearing supply stores. I DO NOT recommend using bearings made in China. Many auto parts stores carry these bearings now, so take it out of the box and check it before you pay.

Re: Pinion Tail bearing
The tail bearing opposite of the head bearing. Most all the auto parts stores now have hire complete idiots that don't know their *** form a hole in the ground and just want to sell kits. I was hoping someone may have the Timkin number so I could order the specific bearing.
