tranny and axel swap

ok i have a 1990 camaro rs(305) manual, im wanting to put a k5 blazer 350 tbi which like the 305 has a 2 bolt main. im wanting to put a TR6060 tranny(corvette and GXP and new camaro and dodge charger and 07 ford shelby mustang gt500) but i dont know if i take a GM tranny if it would bolt to the 350. what adapters would i need to do it. and the tranny would lead to a 90 iroc-z axle with either 3.73 gears or 4.10 gears. any suggestions? or if the TR6060 would never work could i get suggestions about another good tranny.

Agreed, the TR6060 is just an evolution of the T56, and while it is a hair stronger, your 350 doesn't need that extra strength. With the T56, you can get a version that Tremec offers specifically for our third gens, or you gan get a used one out of a fourth gen, and the sticky details that fairly well.

Re: tranny and axel swap

thanks, i was also thinking about using the T56, but the 350 will be pushing about 355 hp and 389 tq. would it hold up with out breaking?

Any version of the T56 can hold 390 ft-lbs no sweat, even if you use slicks.
