Transmission mount question

Transmission mount question
I have a 1982 MSE and I'm not sure if it has a Munice 4 speed or if it has different transmission in it. I was told it needs a transmission mount, lower ball joints, and tie-rods to pass inspection. The bill sheet says MM4 for the transmission and this is the shift pattern:
R - 1 3
--- 2 4
The gears are very short and you cannot access reverse unless you push the shifter down then push it to the top left. I've seen other trans am's of the same vintage with the reverse gear next to 2nd gear. Also, would anyone be able to recommend what type of ball joints and tierods I should buy for this car. I normally buy parts through Rock Auto. Thanks for your time and your help.

Re: Transmission mount question
Cool, thanks for the info, it looks like its a Borg Warner Super T-10 from what I can tell. The mounts seems to be pretty cheap which is good too. I'm looking into the moog ball joints and probably trw tie rods as well. thanks again

Re: Transmission mount question
Yes, reverse on the left and forward is the ST-10.
The crappy saginaw has reverse right and back.
Tranny mounts are the same either way though. You can get an aftermarket one and it's universal for all SBC's too.
Ball joints and tie rod ends - Just get MOOG. They're high quality and low cost. You'll need to rent a press to do the ball joints, and you'll likely need to get a front end alignment after you do the tie rod ends.
