Is my posi worn out?

Happy Friday! Well I recently swapped out my peg leg 2.73 drum brake rear end for one with 3.23 gears, posi and disc brakes. I've done a couple of burnouts (naturally) and this was the longest one I've done but after looking at the signature I couldn't help but notice the driver's side tire seems to have left more rubber behind than the right. Is this normal or is my posi worn out? I thought with these things they either work or they don't.

Torque from the rotation of the drive shaft tries to push the left (driver's side) rear tire down on the ground and lift the right tire, so the left tire is usually going to make a darker mark.

looks good to me . it's not making any strange clunking noises is it ? does it feel much different as far as quickness goes changing to the 3.23 ? i've got one to put in mine just haven't got to it yet . an i'm curious about the new seat of the pants feel . lol

Thanks for the technical answer, big gear head! I've done a couple more burnouts and they look similar to the one in the pic and that answers the question in my head.

freaky,
No issues with the rear end. It came off an '83 pace car with about 150k. I had The Ring and Pinion Shop go through it before they put it in. I'd say there is a noticible difference in the acceleration but it's not a huge difference. The biggest improvement is acceleration at speeds greater than 60mph. I was at 100 before I even knew what happened and it pulls a lot better without disengaging lock up in overdrive. RPM's went up by about 300 or so. My car used to cruise 80mph at just over 2k and now it looks to be around 2350 or so. I'm still on my full tank of gas so I can't comment on mpg's just yet. I still get the same amount of scratch from a dead dig which is cool and sometimes when it downshifts to first gear when I stomp on it it gets some scratch which it never did before. It also has an easier time getting to 45 while staying well below 2k rpms. It also did this with the 2.73 I just think it happens a lot faster now. It turns out the only speedo gear you will need to replace is the drive gear, get the 15 tooth in place of the red 17 one and you'll be all set if you have 2.73's already.
