Some shops cant be trusted

So since I been busy lately I had one of the local shops do an oil change. Suddenly after leaving the shop my car is now leaking from the trans pan and the power steering seals. I had no leaks whatsoever before I got there.
I went back and of course they claim they informed me about it when they did it and my roommate was there as my witness.

Anyways, so what's your take on it? Easy fix on the trans pan? could it be just tightening bolts or new one? Its a 700R4.

Also power steering seals, how much of a hassle or even costs?

Greatly appreciated for any input.

So you think they did what? loosened your pan bolts to create a leak and somehow damaged your power steering seals? come on now..

I had not noticed the shop did have bad reviews. The seals i know seems unlikely. Trans pan tho its easy. I had absolutely no leaks on the car. By the time I got home let it sit a few hours, im having oil spots on the driveway which was clean beforehand. Landlord gets bitchy about oil so i check every time i move my car.

Just checked power steering, the cap was lose, refilled and tightened. Turned on the car for a few minutes, let it sit, got under the engine but no leaks so far.
Going to try tightening bolts on trans later.

A lot of times shops do a poor job of cleaning up behind themselves during the oil change. When you take the filter off, it's inevitable that oil is going to run down on the block and other places, if they dont clean it up well, you will notice some "leaks" that weren't there before. That could be another possibility so check that as well

they might have done it on purpose to charge you more. maybe one of the guys thought the power steering cap was the oil cap. or they thought you wanted your transmission oil changed and realized halfway.

Here's my theory. They popped the cap on the power steering fluid to see if it needed fluid, then didn't tighten it back up. I actually had that happen with my master cylinder at goodyear.
