limited slip axle question?
How come i see some camaros have the right wheel spinning during a burnout, and other times its the left.
is there a way to make my limited slip(one wheel burnout) axle a posi-track?
I hate the single wheel spinning.

Re: limited slip axle question?
If you have a limited slip and only one tire is spinning there is a problem. You can get a GOOD limited slip diff, a locker, or spool. Some people have welder theirs but I tried it and it broke.

Re: limited slip axle question?
It's called an open differential.

Re: limited slip axle question?
Open or standard differential. A limited slip differential and posi are the same thing. Posi is Eaton's brand name for their clutch type limited slip differential. The name was catchy, so now it's universally used for most limited slip differentials (or LSD).
You can install a new Eaton Posi in the rear end that is in your car as long as you have a 3.23 to 4.56 gear. If you have a 3.08 to 2.14 then you are sadly limited to the Auburn unless you want to upgrade your axles and use a used Torsen.

Since your car should have a 10-bolt, check the following FAQ for some suggestions:
