Throttle Cable BRACKET

Throttle Cable BRACKET
Hey guys. First post here - yay!
Okay so I just recently bought a 1984 Camaro Z28. Pretty worn. Not driven in a year. Definite project car. Really cheap and I have plenty of money to fix it up. Problem I'm having is it won't shift. The guy at the transmission shop says I need a bracket for the throttle cable (there's not one on there at all).
I cannot find a throttle cable BRACKET for my model anywhere! Okay, I take that back...I've seen one's for Holley transmissions, Demon carburetors, and Lokar cables.
Thing is, my stuff is all stock right now, and I have no idea which bracket is going to be compatible...they all look different! I am NOT very mechanically inclined, which is why I like to pay professionals to handle the work, that is, until they just kind of leave me hanging on something like this.
I've got the throttle cable and all, I just need the bracket for it (apparently that will make it able to shift). Can anyone send me a link to the bracket I need? Many, many thanks in advance.

Re: Throttle Cable BRACKET
Not sure. I can tell you it has over drive...so a friend of mine is telling me that is a 700R transmission. That's honestly the best answer I think I can give you.
Found another link to a potential part, but it says it's for the 350 and 400 transmissions, and like I said, it's looking like mine is a 700R.

If it's a Q-jet, two posts of mine here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...-tv-cable.html
Should lead you to either:
Get a bracket from a Chevy 200-4R / 700-R4 / TH350 car / truck that looks like the one I link to; it will have a "TV cable type distance" to it, or
Get an Olds-type bracket (aftermarket linked) which will bolt to a Q-jet pattern carb.
