I got a diff from a 98 ls1 but the previous owner kept the calipers and the (heat shield caliper bracket ebrake thingy majigy)internal parking brake bracket kit(on pic below) so now I need replacements and I'm just wondering if I can use any 98- 02 camaro/firebird either 6 or 8 cylinders I did a search on AutoZone for the rotor it is a 12 inch one I have those and it says that all the models are compatible is this true? Has anyone dealt with this before thanks for the input on same note looking for those parts in the Phoenix metro area 85128 willing to travel a little thanks again guys/gals
Discs were standard on V8 Models starting in 1993. Optional on V6 through 1997.

There were a few 4th gens at U Pull & Pay, SW corner of 25th Ave and Buckeye a couple weeks ago. If you could find a 99-02 with the Torsen and brakes altogether, fhat would be best, since the 98 is an auburn.
So I want torsen (the one with no clutches right?) vs the one I might have right now haven't really open up the back to check I'm just going by what the previous owner said it was free too so that's Y i figured I'll just get the parts I need and go with it still a big improvement from drums n non posi to posi and disk breaks needles to say better gears should I just go for a whole new one? Yeah you should open it up. I would rather find a 3.42 on a Torsen diff. than 2.73s on an Auburn.
That yard had a 50% off day when I last went. I can only imagine finding a complete Torsen disc rear is less hassle than trying to piece together the discs that everyone wants.
