What's a short throw shifter console?
Will it make a big difference from the stock one? Is it only the shifter itself that is shorter? I don't understand....?
I already have a non stock shifter lever, so if that's the issue, I'll just cut down the one I have a bit...?

The motion of the shifter is shorter on your end. The pivot point moves making the length inside the transmission longer so the movement on the stick feels shorter.

Ok, thanks. Interesting!
Why do the short throw shifters wary so much in price?
Is it the usual "you get what you pay for" here, as well?
A used B& M shifter for 115 USD

A new one for only 47 USD.
