Olds 3.1

I've got a '90 Oldsmoblie Cutlass Supreme SL with a sideways 3.1L V6 (wrong wheel drive). I've seen a few posts about 3.1L V6's in the V6 F-Bodies. Is it the same V6 engine? Just wondering...

Technically it is the same

However, it has some major differences between the two motors. One difference is the location of the starter. Another major difference is the intake port location on the heads and the way the valves are set up in the cylinder heads.

I have a feeling you have a 3.3!
Same engine as a Buick, it's different.
It's not the same as our 60* V-6
Please make me be correct or incorrect.
Friend had a Buick and it was just a weird size engine not our 60* things.
