MAF location...

Does it matter where in the intake stream the MAf is located? Obviously it needs to be AFTER the air filter, but does it matter how close to the TB it is?

Also, what other options do I have for PCV valve tubing that normally ties into the intake pipe right before the TB...

Currently I've adapted the intake assembly from an '87 Regal Grand National, and it works fine, but the filter is a little cramped down in the corner with the MAF sensor having that bend in it... I just want to clean it up a bit...

Thanks for your thoughts...
