Air intake question
Ive got a 92 3.1 and i noticed that the tube that sucks in the air at the air filter canister is tapered and it gets smaller the longer it gets.........could i cut of most of the tube........seems like it would allow more air in. Will i experience any problems with doing this?
Do you know what im talking about

you can cut that tube off or drill out the pop rivets that hold it to the canister. you will not have any problems from doing this. that plastic arm that goes accross there is restrictive too. the v8 TPI dual snorkle intakes work quite nicely also. (i've got one i'll sell ya!) being a 92, its SD so you can go to homedepot and get to 3" straight though rubber couplers on the PVC plumbing isle and get a short peice of 3" PVC and you've got a nice setup that will breathe good.
