Picture Needed of V6 EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH A.I.R. Injectors. Who can help us?

HI All
We got the call from Fred Gerle of PaceSetter Exhaust, the great guys who supplied us with Street Legal Headers for our V6 rides.

We need picture of V6 Exhaust Manifolds wiht A.I.R. injector systems attached.
WHO CAN HELP
Kretos has offered to supply PaceSetter Exhaust a set of requested exhaust manifolds for "experimentation".
Now help us with a picture of your A.I.R. tubes and your exhaust set up/engine bay.
PS Who has a set of spare A.I.R. tubes from these exhaust manifolds lying around to offer for the cause?

I don't have a Smogpump car but I do have a '92 3.1L passenger side manifold sitting around. I have a set of '94 3.4L manifilds also and the air tube only goes to the passenger side on them just like the 3.1L one I am showing below.

Attached is a pic of the air tube that is used with the '92 manifold RTFC posted a pic of. The threads on the manifold fitting are 7/8-18. The distance from the CL of the manifold fitting to the CL of the bracket hole is 1-15/16".

Um, being that you requested some pics, and the pics were delivered, and you being the point man, shouldn't you send the pics to Fred?

The request was to get pics, not to be sure we sent them off to Fred. . .

I TOTALLY AGREE
Would you guys please send me those pictures by email?
Far as I'm concerned, any way we can get those detailed pictures to one who may be able to create a product for us, sure helps everyone.
At moment, all I can do is send Mr. Gerle a link to this topic.
More people offering emails for the requested product sure makes the potential of production speed up, too.

I appreciate that answer so much.

Please realize that I use a MAC APPLE HZ350 computer, circa 1999.
It may not have all those bells & whistles
But my MAC was good enough to help us get these PaceSetter Exhaust Street Legal headers made.

Seems the best way I get pictures is to have them sent to me in an email.

THANKS!

I'll take any solid information offered to help for the cause!
PaceSetter & Mr. Fred Gerle want our help to be able to sell more product they made for us V6's.
Any picture is worth a 1,000 words.
Spare parts sent their way are as valuable, too.
If anyone could send me those pics, separate from this thread, that's a plus for my computer, too.
Maybe, make them slightly smaller. I use that good ol dial up stuff ya know.
Thanks for the help!

okay.. so my advice didn't leave room for a total lack of a right mouse button ... apple key or some other meta/control/alt/modifier key + mouse click should bring up a menu that allows you to save the image.

A few things to note:
The 2.8L AIR systems connect to the driver side manifold, just after each exhaust port (i.e. - three connections on the manifold).

The 3.1L AIR systems connect to the passenger side manifold at the center of the manifold (as shown in the picture from RTFC above).

The thread that Xophertony linked to shows the AIR system from the V8 engines. It is similar to the 2.8L engine setup (with the exception being that the V8 setup connects at both manifolds).

Please also send some of those same picutres to this email address.
This sure does help us get these headers "altered slightly" to broaden market appeal for more 3rd Gen V6 owners who seek to buy street legal headers from PaceSetter Exhaust.
fgerle@pacesetterexhaust.com

THanks for helping.
Be sure to post them, too.
That allows all of us to know what every variation looks like.

ohh.... oops.

in other news... how close are we to getting those A.I.R ok headers. i would much rather delete my A.I.R but that would involve spending $200 on PROM chip burning supplies.

good thinking karl.

the following is a copy of my email:

Hello,
I am a Member of the message boards at https://www.thirdgen.org/. I have been following the tale of the headers for about a year now; but lately updates have been slow. I had heard of a possible re-release with A.I.R compatibility. I was wondering what the progress on that is. is there a spot on your website where information on projects in progress can be found? any information would be appreciated,
thank you -Tony Gambino (XopherTony@comcast.net)

wait... now i am confused. we can still order them, they just wont have A.I.R injection holes. right?

as much as i would like to see headers produced, i would much rather remove my A.I.R system, and am currently working out a way to do so with no adverse affects.
