Can finally show off our RS
I finally got around to painting our RS (in the original color, Dark Green-Gray Metallic), which my wife bought new back in 1992 - loooong before I knew her. After almost 14 years of sitting out in the California sun with little or no paint care, the paint was literally flaking off the roof and deck lid in large chunks, and the rear bumper was badly faded. Mechanically it's in great shape and only has 74,000 miles on the odo. This car sits outside as our other two cars are each worth a lot more money, but now I keep it under a high quality cover to protect it.
By the way, this is an $850 paint job from a local body shop. The body was fine so no real work was needed to fix dents etc, which obviously kept the cost way down. No, it isn't show quality by any means, but that wasn't our intent. I just didn't want to be embarassed driving around in a big old paint flaking POS. I've already gotten a bunch of compliments in various parking lots, which is pretty cool, and I've polished it out and applied a couple coats of a polymer sealant to protect her and bring out the shine. Oh, and the engine bay was a dusty mess after being in the body shop, so I detailed that too. The body shop added the stripe because it originally had a double paint stripe when my wife got it. I'm still not too sure about the stripe, but my wife likes it so what the heck.
So, here she is in her new found glory!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.
RBob, yes, I really like the look of the Y intake. I cut the bottoms out of each side and put in a pair of Accel Cool Blue filters. I didn't want to spend a few hundred bucks on a CAI and I didn't want to ghetto one up either so I picked this up from Dave at thirdgenusa.com pretty cheap.
And yes, I'm a bit obsessive about having a clean engine bay - all my cars are like that.

Car looks great Mike. Price is unbelievable for around here, hard to find a spraycan job for under $1500 (I happen to live about 4 blocks directly behind your car in the second picture above.)
My paint is fading also being the factory '87 paint. I'll have to be getting it done in the next year or two.
I'll watch for you around town
