car dies

car dies

i have a 89 rs, when I get the car to opperating temp and drive it at stops it dies without the air on. Any suggestions

Transmission: 700R4 with OD
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 7.625 open-factory 3.42
Replace your ignition module. Better yet, rebuild your distributor.

clean you idle air control valve (IAC)

do a search on how or check haynes

....and then check your injectors for one that is close to no resistance....

Not even sure what you mean.

If the car only dies when you stop.
Its a vacuum leak 99% of the time.

The ac being on or not shouldn't matter.
