Worked V6 4l60 Auto Tranny up for grabs
Hey guys,
Im about to get a 96 impala SS complete drive train and I am dropping this into my car. I would love to keep my tranny but I would then lose the electronic control (no biggie i guess) and i would need the v8 housing and a new torque converter too. So I will just go with the stock 4l60e from the SS.
There is maybe 10K MAX on the tranny, I bought it for 1000$ off ebay, Its a 4l60, 3 speed with overdrive. Its set up so it can be floored in overdrive without downshifting. it was said to handle 350 hp. Had trans go shift kit, kevlar bands , corvette servo, and a 2200 stall converter. Has more mods in tranny , I forget what they are. But it shifts very nice and quick, and made me love driving an auto , either just putting around town or cruising in the twisties.
Any one want it? I live in lower NY near jersey and PA. Ill meet half way.
Ill be nice and do the tranny and converter for 500
