Do you ever 'top off' the tank? Fuel will back up into the evap canister.

3.4 block converted to roller valvetrain with 220/225 cam on 115 lsa, early '769' heads with 3500 valves, LS6 springs & mild porting, worked over heddman headers, 3500 plenum with ported 3400 lower & 'short star' 65mm throttle. 210hp at 5800ft (that's 270hp at sealevel )
just got back from getting my cat out of my storage shed.. low and behold on the way 30 mile trip btw... the code 45 came back after 15 miles of driving.
cat changing on thursday.. along with o2.. i hope that fixes it.
What else is going on? Throwing parts at it isn't the way to fix it. Do you have a fuel pressure guage?

Whoa hold on a minute, this is what the injectors you're using look like? Wish I would've taken a look at these at the start, they're not correct. These are intended for later motors and won't run correctly. Get a refund and make sure they know to change their application info on their website to specify 3100.

i callled the guy and asked first before i even ordered them. car runs good other than i can't get the code 45 to go away. and i had it before i even did the injector swap.
are the injectors to big then?
No, they're just the wrong design if those are the injectors you're using. Different resistance & not compatible with early stuff. You had it before the swap though? What was your fuel psi?
