Stock O2 wire routing for connector

Stock O2 wire routing for connector
I have an 89 2.8 that someone slapped together a crappy set of duals for and they deleted the O2 sensor and cats when they did. I’m putting together a proper exhaust for this car now and am installing some pacesetter headers and would like to add back an O2 sensor. I don’t know how far back they deleted the wiring for the O2 sensor, but if anyone can provide detailed descriptions of where the stock connectors were located and where they ran and went into the overall harness that would be great.

Re: Stock O2 wire routing for connector
I burned my oxygen sensor wire/connector soooo many times on the exhaust... just about every time I got an oxy sensor code, it had melted on the exhaust. The wire pretty much drops straight down out of the harness that runs across the top of the engine, around where the EGR is on the passenger side. Look for a purple wire... the edge may be burnt too! Might have to open the harness up (towards the passenger fender) to find wherever they cut it. Let us know if you find it/how you fix it...
