I got a set of bogart rims and tires for free as a buddy owed me cash. But they may not fit my car.

So they are 15"x 10" with a 3" BS
fronts are like 4" runners so they fit

I want to say our car need like a 5" BS???

I will have a custom rear end and could make it work but if I had a stock size rear end would it look like with 7"+ sticking out.

I am crazy to try to make these fit but from what I found the rears are like $400 each so the set w/tires are around 2k. And this buddy was NEVER going to pay me so "what the hell.

Put the wheels up on Racingjunk.com site and get the correct wheels for your car.

Bogart wheel are really light and not good for street driving. You will probably bend then if your not carefull. They are really just drag racing wheels and made for lighter cars.

ok From what I found

4" bs on a 8" wheel is stock

So that leaves me with 3" more sticking out. No BS needed as it said a 4" bs and I only am using 3"

But is said that we can fit a 9.5 was what is a 1/2" also have 2 9" rear ends with nothing but end plates welded on so I could pay to cut and weld on to have a few rear ends! With my power level I realy don't think stock 92" wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial 255/50/16 will work.

So if I had a 4gen axle it is 1.5" shorter moving the tire in. so it would be like a stock rear end with 5.5" front. That is good right. I would cut out the 3 hill shapes in the wheel well. and the Hoosier 29x12x15 have to go.

But what would be a good tire size with these offset. Already have 2 buddies that want to buy them but I realy like them.

^^You have that reversed. 4th gen's are 1.5 inches wider on each side.

Ok after alot of thinking...... I do not want to change the rear end just for a set of wheels. I would like to bolt on stock wheels and also a drag set.

So that being said what about a 1.5 spacer. I am reading other post with people running 17x11 with 315 in the rear.

And if a 4gen rear end is 1.5" longer then I am good. RIGHT???


I have 12 rims and tires in my garage like...

17x9.5 and 17x11 silver REAL corvette wheels
17x10 and 17x11 CCW trak pack wheels nitto 275 and 315 R1 and R2 on the 01 camaro now
17x9.5 and 17x12 CCW trak pack (titianum) perelli 315 and 245
& these BOGART MONO stars 15x10 and 15x3.5 with ds2 and hoosier 29x12x15

SO will these new wheels fit the 92 or the 01 if not anyone know about a 79 camaro.

I allso have too many dam cars.LOL

Wait I think I was wrong the whole time.

A stock 15 wheel on a 3rd gen is 4"bs on a 15x8.
So it I have a 3" bs then NO spacers needed and if i did use a spacer then there would be even more sticking out.

But on a 17x9.5 wheel on a 3rd gen it says run a 5.5.


So now I am thinking if I shorten the axle by 1.5 it would be like a 4.5 bs and as I have to run 3" rear studs I can throw on a 1.5 spacer and bolt up the stock camaro wheels.

Someone please help.

Ok slow down take a deep breath.....you are making this WAY harder than it is.

Lest go back and define what "backspacing" is: on a 8" wheel 4" of backspacing means there is 4" from the wheel flange to the inner edge of the wheel. This leaves 4" to the outside. Now take that same rim and make it 9" wide with 4" of backspacing. You now have 4" to the inside and 5" to the outside.

On a 3rd gen a 9.5" wheel with 5.5" of backspacing is about all you can fit and not crowd the fender lip and not rub on the inner wheel tub. Knowing that you know to only put 5.5" of rim to the inside and 4" to the outside of the wheel flange. You can squeez a 10" wheel in by crowding the fender lip a bit which means that you need a 10" wheel with 5.5" of backspacing.

The wheels you have will stick out a fell 2.5" past the fenders.
