quick GTA wheel question
probably answered before but i couldnt find much information on this topic
i have a 91 camaro z28 suspension lowered on eibach sportline springs and KYB adjustable shocks
plan on putting on a set of GTAs i picked up with no tires. i wanted to run the Fronts on the rears and the rears on the front like everyone wants to but didnt really know why i couldnt? what rubs? touches? causes? anyway around those? BFH? spacers etc...
if not i was wondering if anyone runs 295/50s in the rear of a lowered camaro to?
and if 255/50s all the way around will still clear if the vehicle is lowered? i understand slight rubbing will happen cause right now my car not lowered on stock z28 wheels n 245/50 rubbed on the right side only.
just wana make sure first before i install the tires.
thanks

they hit the tie rod. to do it you have to use a spacer on the front, something around 1/4/-5/16?
fronts all round works too with no problems

Re: quick GTA wheel question
i believe the factory ones are 6mm, so that traslates to .236", so round it to 1/4".
i noticed you have a b4c car? is that the one in question? does the car have the 1le brakes? because i hear if you have the 1le brakes, you dont need the spacer.

Re: quick GTA wheel question
dont have the 1le brakes but swap in the near future will be done but not right now.
so 1/4 spacers will get the job done need to replace studs to longer ones too?

maybe maybe not, i would check and see how much engagement you have, if its less than 1.5 times the stud diameter, get longer studs.

Re: quick GTA wheel question
i just test fitted the Rear GTA on the front of my camaro
4mm spacers arent going cut it. i need about 1/2inch spacer to clear the tie rod.
off to order the APR studs and 1/2 spacer now
