IMPO, that rim is junk, and the company would probably charge u what u payed for the rims to fix it. that damage looks pretty bad, atleast the first pic

Re: ruff racing 278 wheels. can i fix this?

That is VERY fixable. Just take it to someone who has experience doing wheel repairs, not just somebody that thinks they can heat it up & straighten it up.

These guys know their business. I've used them before & will again if I ever need to.

Re: ruff racing 278 wheels. can i fix this?

If you look through the Before & After pics of the work they've done, you'll have no doubt that they know their stuff.

All the pics on that page are After, but click on any & it'll show you a side by side of the Before & After, then you can scroll through all the pics using your arrow keys & see each wheels Before & After pic.

And if you wanted to do anything like powdercoating them...Maybe just the face & leave a polished or different colored lip, they can do that too.

Re: ruff racing 278 wheels. can i fix this?

I used Dallas. Shipped them there & they shipped them back. Had them widened from 9" to 11", cleaned up the minor rash on the outer lip then powdercoated them.
