New Wheels Help.
So I drive a 91' Camaro RS with the stock wheels. I every place I call gives me different numbers. For rear wheel backspacing do I go with 4.5" on my new wheels? 16 X 8 wheels.
Thank you.
And heres my latest pic of the rebuild!

Re: New Wheels Help.
4.5" backspacing should work fine. You can't go higher than 4.8".
Personally, I would get the same offset/backspacing for all 4 wheels so you can rotate your tires.

I know if you put the rear wheels up front, they hit the tie rods. According to skulte.com the rears are 4.9" backspacing.

Re: New Wheels Help.
No, rear 16x8 factory wheels have 5.125" of bs, fronts have 4.5. Skulte's numbers are not quite correct
That said, yes you can use 4.5 on the front and rear with no problems.
