Re: My new wheels. 17x9 & 17x10 OG San (cross-lace style)
robertfrank, jazzdadss, Holmes and GTA777 thanks for the compliments on the wheels.
brdofpry85ta thanks for the input I am still deciding on the tire measurements (I want to get it right). I will take a look at the above stated. I already had the 555s in mind as well as the Falken FK452s.
Those do look great......bout time someone made some bigger replicas
Actually a 275-40-17 is a better/exact fit size for a 17x9 wheel....(stock 4 gens w/17's have 275's on them)....
But with a 9 front and 10 rear to really get that staggered look you can do a 255-45-17 front and a 285-40-17 rear. They both are 25.94 in. tall (stock 3rd gen 16's are 25.7).....and a 285 will fit better on a 10" wheel....
check out the Nitto 555's.... http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/nt555#size
I have Boyd Codington Magnito's 17x8 F with 245-45-17 and 17x10 R 315-35-17....

Re: My new wheels. 17x9 & 17x10 OG San (cross-lace style)
I always thought our rims bolt pattern were 5 X 120 and not 5 X 120.65. Due to the mm, which is very small, would the rim not fit on our cars? I found a dealer in Canada who can get these for me and was about to purchase them but want to make sure these would fit.
Thanks.
Thanks.

These are awesome, just changed my mind for wheels, these will retain my stock appearance as well and will look great with the stock beige color top!!

KXWheels in Richmond (I think) BC. $275 for 17 X 10s. Google KXWheels. They don't have it on their website, only the 15" 4 bolt ones. I contact them and they said the rims are new which is why they're not on the site. I was talking with Gabe.

Re: My new wheels. 17x9 & 17x10 OG San (cross-lace style)
Threw on a set of OG San wheels on my Z28. I had to have these wheels because I love the lip in the rear and the fact that they are a 17 x 10. I got in touch with Axis Wheels and they made it happen. I'm stoked.
The set up up front is a 17x9 +10 with a 1in spacer and rear is 17x10 +15 with an 8mm spacer.

Re: My new wheels. 17x9 & 17x10 OG San (cross-lace style)
If I don't get an email response from them by Tuesday, I will make some phone calls and see if they can help us out. Lets see if they can build them and what kind of pricing they are talking about. And yes, if we could do 18" or 19" even and proper offsets to avoid spacers and wider tires too would be awesome. I do want to emphasize the center hub diameter to utilize our factory center caps though and also want to find out if they can be made without the bolts at the outer ring of the wheel to the barrel area.

Allright, I'm gonna be a tool and reply a 3rd time. I think it's not cool that these guys aren't willing to make these in 18 inches, especially considering there is an existing market for them and that people are already purchasing the 17 inch version.
P.S.
Downshift,
Isn't there a spacer available that adapts your GM bolt patern to the BMW bolt pattern?

Re: My new wheels. 17x9 & 17x10 OG San (cross-lace style)
I'm sure you can have a 1" spacer drilled to 5x120 => 5x120.65 to use on this wheel in regards to the front two. However, for the rear you just need an 8 mm spacer so there is no bolt patter correction there. I am using a 5x120 => 5x120 1" spacer in the front and a 4 mm in the rear on my current setup, I have not had any problems (18" TSW Valencias)....

Update:
I decided to go with Sumitomo HTR Z IIs. 245/45 in the front and 275/40s in the rear. They got mounted today and I have to say I really liked the way they fit. I got that "donut" look without having to stretch the tires. I hope to put them on the car this weekend.

IROCgiraffe I will try and upload some shots once the wheels are on the car (by Sunday I hope). Hopefully they will not look too bulky.

Width & height comparison of the rear wheels and tires. Old set up and new set up as well as pic of the spacer used in the rear, 8mm or 5/16. **NOTE** The rear will require longer wheel bolts to compensate for the spacer. I’m going to be getting some ARP extended studs soon.
Width & height comparison of the front wheels and tires. Old set up and new set up as well as pic of the 1” spacer used in the front.
Now…the mounted wheels.

Do you think the rears will hit the fender lip if you bottom out? They look like the stick out just slightly more than stock.

It is hard to tell by just looking at it because it is so close. If I was to lower the car or was worried about bottoming out I would go with a thinner spacer. I will check like in the picture you posted.

Good view on that pic, looks like you should be in the clear! I really like the rims, I'd get gold ones for my black GTA, but I don't want to hide my Baer calipers

need. these. wheels. in. 18inches. with. proper. backspacing.
they. look. so. good.
Good job guys!
The irony is, usually it's us GTA guys that cry for crosslace wheels, and here, we have two camaro guys leading from the front!

So with a 4th gen rear you wouldnt need a spacer? Would a 17x10 fit the front? Can we just order a set not painted?

Ordered these wheels for my TTA yesterday, can't wait to see how they look on the car. I went a little different on the sizing and I'll post the details and pictures once we get them on the car.

Awsome! Yeah post the pics. I'd love to see them on a TTA and I'm sure a lot of others would too. I'm guessing you went 17x10 all the way around?

I'm not sure if they are a direct fit to the 4th gen F body rear end on the 3rd gen F body combo. I would think that the 17x10 would work on the front but am not 100% sure. I do not belive you can order a raw set, but you can always have them customized as there are many shops out there that mod wheels.

Wow man you car looks amazing. I want a set so bad but Ive wanted a set of ronals for so dam long. I would want these but I dont want to run a spacer as I want to do alot of track stuff and a spacer just isnt ideal for that. Still I mightpull the trigger on a set just to have them for driving around on. If you dont mind me asking is it a 3rd or 4th gen rear in your car?

First off thanks for bringing these to our attention! I just picked up a set for my GTA.
Will be having them mounted tomorrow.
?
Do we really need extended wheel studs for the 8mm spacer? These cars came with an 8mm spacer from the factory on the stock wheels in the back & the lugnuts thread of their fine. Is this just something extra you wanted to do?

First off thanks for bringing these to our attention! I just picked up a set for my GTA.
