18" crosslace
I was on FB this am and saw some 18" crosslace wheels being developed on a GN site. I didn't get much info other than a screen shot but what I saw was no dimples, 18x8, 18x9 and 19x 9.5 inch wheels are heading for crash testing and should be on sale in a few months.
On FB its on GBodyPartsOfficial

That is the link to the site. The wheels are under the 'upcoming products'.
Probably easier to follow on facebook though

No one searches...
Stolen photos from the facebook link...
I like the idea. Granted they're slanted towards G-body needs more than ours, but any alternative to Hawks is a good thing. It'll be interesting to see how they're priced. The Facebook discussion does mention they plan to do thirdgen specific sizes after the first few runs, and they welcome feedback from the thirdgen community, so if you don't like what they're offering go to the page and join the discussion.
Aside from being offered by Hawks, the only problem with the 17" repros is that they're only 17s. They'd have been awesome in 1999, but for 2017 they're still a bit on the small side.
One of the G-body vendors is working on 18 & 19" GTA repros.

Re: 18" crosslace
I wonder how they will be priced... That is the biggest thing. I have spent years searching for the correct spec Epsilon mesh wheels for my formula. I wouldn't mind selling them to get a set of these in 18". I am also curious what they will weigh...

Re: 18" crosslace
According to the facebook comments, they are shooting for $1400-$1600
I'm guessing the grand national crowd isn't as cheap as the 3rd gen crowd is.

18x9 isn't really all that great though. Wish they would do them in 10.5 as well so I could at least go staggered.

$1400-$1600 is not bad if they aren't gravity cast Chinese stuff. Unfortunately, most "custom" runs of wheels these days seem to just be $100 wheels being sold for way too much.

10.5" won't fit g-bodies, so forget about that - at least for now.
I'm not sure why they went with a 9", but a 9.5" fits on the back of those cars. Problem for those guys is a 9.5" does not fit up front like the 3rd gens.
