Are there any updates on the wheel? I know the wheel has been chosen and its on pre-order for fall 2020 which has passed. I'm doing the CTS-V 6 piston upgrade to my car and hoping this wheel is still going to be produced.

Re: Hawks Ronal R-15 18x10 Reproduction Poll
Hi Guys sorry for the delay , the whole Covid 19 Fiasco has slowed over seas production and delivery by a TON , My last update is these should be here end of April BUT I do know the port is backed up with containers and being checked in so could be may or June before I have them here ready to ship . I promise I am more upset than you guys but nothing I can do to really change it or speed it up so for now just have to sit back and be patient . Thanks again for all the support !!

I am thinking about getting a set, so I can run a staggered setup on both cars.
18x10 rear with 17x9.5 front
Just gotta figure out tire sizes.
Later,
Chris

I agree as I experienced the same thing - I wish these places would stop advertising them as it's a waste of peoples time making them think they have them or can get them.

Don't know if the car belongs to a TGO member, but I remember Hawk's posting some pictures, so I searched the net and found them. Also found a yellow Camaro with a set that has color keyed inserts that might've served as the prototype.

I think 18" is where it starts to matter WHAT wheel you're talking about as to how it looks. Wheels like the GTA or Weld S71's with that double lip look good, but honestly I just think the Firehawk looks too big. I'm a fan of big tires and big brakes, but I love the LOOK of a proper 16" wheel on these cars. 17" works too, but 18" just starts looking big.
