What size spacers for 4th gen rear.

So I will be installing 4th gen rear and I want my front tires to be even with my rear. So what size spacers do I get for the front? 1.5, 1.75 ? 2" ?

Re: What size spacers for 4th gen rear.

do some searching but rule of thumb is that 4th gen rear is 2" wider each side
hence needing 2" adapters on 3rd gen rear

Anybody have a link to a good set? Been reading people complain about vibrations so I want a tried and tested set from a forum member.

stock 3rd gen wheels stick out almost past the fenders with 4th gen rear. 4th gen wheels or c5 wheels would fit in the rear and then front would need a 2" spacer for c5 or fourth gen wheels

Re: What size spacers for 4th gen rear.

I have a 4th gen rear and 4th gen wheels on mine. I put 2" spacers in the front that I got off of ebay, but have yet to put any miles on them so I couldn't particularly give a tested review of those particular ones at this time. IIRC they were made by a company called Sixity.
Fitment as far as how far the wheel sticks out front to rear is spot on.

Main thing is to just give a little extra care when bolting them on the car and the wheels onto the spacers, as to make sure the lug nuts center everything up nicely. I also chose to use a dab of blue Loctite as cheap insurance for the lug nuts holding the spacer on the car.

Re: What size spacers for 4th gen rear.

He wants to space stock wheels out to match stock wheels on the 4th gen rear, which get pushed out between 1.5-2”

imo i wouldnt do it and just live with the look. Imo its not a bad look and more spaced out wheels on front would look too skateboard ish
