I'm right in the middle of installing a new 383 with a set of AFR 190's 68cc w/L98 plug angles.
I have the invoice at home with the part number but I think it's AFR# 1022. These are not in their catalog. I called AFR and talked to Mark ext 107.
I told him what I was doing with my 88IROC and what I needed for the spark plug and header clearence and said L98 angles work and he said we have part number just for that. I went with the 68cc for higher compression.
The only extra machining needed was to have the heads drilled and tapped for the sensors. I think that was like $20 each hole.
I'll get that invoice and post more tomorrow if you would like.

Check out their web page http://www.airflowresearch.com/
They have the 190 68cc L98 plug angles under part # 1018.
But I don't think those have the heat riser cast into them. I live in California and am trying to get this to pass smog as a 350. At least I'll pass the working EGR test.
The 1018's will pass smog if you got the corvette route of drilling out a hole in the header or manifold and route the exhaust gasses to the manifold.
I'll post the invoiced part# tomorrow.

Ok I ordered AFR# 1022.
So it's like I said above.
190cc, L98 plug, 68cc Chamber CNC street porting
W/ xover or heat riser = 1022
W/out xover = 1018
If you want them in 74cc Chamber the part number w/heat riser is = 1017
I hope this helps!

I'm also working on a 383. With 68cc heads and a 3.75 stroke, what rod lenght and piston did you use. I like to keep the compression ratio around 10:1 to 10.5:1, to be ablee to use pump gas.
Thanks,
Thanks,
