Heads

I am looking for some aftermarket higher performance heads for my 305 TBI. Does anyone have any ideas? Trick flow does not have any for my application.

AFR has a nice 180cc head that comes with 1.94/1.50 valves that should make a substantial difference on your engine.

Only decent parts out there are World Products 305 S/R's. Worth about 50 hp if everything else is up to snuff. The others have 2.0+ valves, the small bore of the 305 isn't a good match for them. Plus, they all have larger chambers that will lower compression.

The 'Vette aluminum heads have the right valve & chamber sizes, but no exhaust cross-over passage (needed for EGR).
